Serge Frejlich studied dentistry at the RUCA University of Antwerp and VUB Brussels and specialized in prosthetic dentistry at the University of Indiana, USA. He is also affiliated with the International College of Prosthodontics (ICP), the International College of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and the Academy of Osseointegration (AO).

 

Ever since Serge founded the smile clinic in 1989, he has been working as a prosthetic dentist and opened a practice in both Antwerp and Boechout. He focuses in particular on the aesthetic and functional recovery of teeth, molars and implants. He is especially interested in the digital development and artistic qualities that make contemporary dentistry beautiful and predictable. The use of digital scanners, intra-oral cameras, CBCT equipment and many others, make optimum care possible.

Prosthetic dentists are in fact the only dentists who have gone through advanced training to restore or improve a person's smile in a skilled and even artistic way. During this 3-year specialization course, dental assessment techniques and the development of insight into color and design are key. Smile Clinic also works with software such as Digital Smile Design (DSD) to make a customized plan for major rehabilitation possible.

 

Mister Frejlich has several international publications to his name, has given lectures at conferences in countries such as Singapore and America and follows refresher courses both in and out of the country several times a year to keep abreast of new developments within the field.
